Hi Promise Community School Families!
As a community school, we place importance in making sure our families are connected to resources and information in our community. Throughout the school year, we share a compiled list of resources from BakerRipley and other places in Houston every 1-2 weeks. These are not always resources that the school district is directly responsible for so we share contact information so that you can follow up with the appropriate people.
This week's resources are focused on the resources that are available for house repairs after the February winter storms.

Rebuilding Together - LINK HERE
Emergency repairs for low-income homeowners in Second Ward, military veterans who need water service restored or need to stop leaks.

Crisis Cleanup - LINK HERE
A Home Cleanup Hotline has been extended to support survivors of winter shock. Most volunteer groups will work through Friday, March 12, 2021.

FEMA Assistance - LINK HERE
If you were affected by the winter storm, apply for assistance. If uninsured, apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov. If you have insurance, file a claim with them first & then apply to FEMA. We can't duplicate benefits if you received insurance from your provider first.
